Lainey Edmisten is a local REALTOR® and manages vacation rentals and long-term rental properties. Whether helping clients lease, buy or sell property, she enjoys helping her clients realize their dreams. Previously, Edmisten spent nearly 20 years advising political candidates and issue-oriented campaigns in 11 states. In addition to campaign management, Edmisten was a fundraiser for the High Country Women’s Fund, an on-air morning drive personality on “The Big Talker FM” in Wilmington, NC, and a research assistant with former NC Sen. Charlie Albertson, (D-Duplin). Edmisten is a 1996 graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science. Edmisten lives in the quaint rural village of Todd on the banks of Skin Camp Creek with her partner, Jim Lewis, dogs, Cinder and Aila, and cats, Nellie and Gini. In her spare time, you can find Edmisten leading Girl Scout Troop #10063, serving on the Todd Community Preservation Organization Board of Directors, tutoring at Green Valley Elementary School, reading, kayaking, enjoying the company of friends and family, or watching Tar Heel sports.
